Delta State Preview Day for sophomores and juniors

Delta State is hosting a Spring Preview Day as part of their annual Go Green Weekend festivities. They would like to invite junior and sophomore students to attend. Spring Preview Day is  from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Up to 2 guests are allowed. Register online at www.deltastate.edu/gogreenweekend.

MS STATE Fall Preview Days

MS State Fall Preview Days are geared toward high school seniors. The student will spend an entire day on campus. The cost is $10 per person. Space is limited so register soon. The dates are October 8 & 29  and November 12  . Registration goes live on September 6 at 9 am.

MS State New Maroon Camp

The Mississippi State University New Maroon Camp is a five-day, four-night student led retreat that prepares first year students for the transition to Mississippi State University. At New Maroon Camp, students learn what it really means to be a Mississippi State Bulldog. This includes giving students the opportunity to experience and learn about MSU history & traditions (the cowbell, the Chapel of Memories, etc.), meet other incoming students, and gain insight into freshman year -- all while moving in to their residence hall 5 days early! Registration for New Maroon Camp 2019 will open on MARCH , 2019!

MS State Orientation registration

MS State online Registration will be available March 1st at 9:00 am.To Register for Orientation:

    1. You must be admitted to MSU.

    2. Use your NetID from MSU and the NetPassword you created for your online application.

    3. You must have a valid credit card to register online.

    4. Immunization records must be sent to the Longest Student Health Center.

MS State Scholars Recognition Days

MS State Scholars Recognition Days are exclusively for high school seniors who have a composite ACT score of 30 or higher. Their goal is to give these students a closer look at the university's academic programs.Talk with faculty about the programs you are interested in and learn what academic opportunities await you at MSU. The dates are: Monday, October 15. Registration available September 6 at 9:00 a.m.

MS STATE Spring Preview Days

MS State Spring Preview Days are designed to assist high school juniors in their college search process. They are events for students and their families to join in for a fun and informative day. Spring Preview Days will take place on March  and March . Registration for these events will be available January 17th, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.

Ole Miss Orientation registration

Ole Miss Orientation registration starts at 8:30 a.m. (CST) on March , 2019.  You can register for summer orientation AFTER you have completed/paid your $75 housing application fee and turned in your health records.

  • Go online to http://my.olemiss.edu/

  • Sign in with your WebID and password.

  • Once you log in, select the Orientation tab in the main tool bar at the top.

Ole Miss Saturday Open House

  • Saturday Open Houses allow weekend opportunities for prospective students and their parents to participate in information sessions, take a campus tour, and visit the residence halls. Registration for Saturday Open Houses will open 8 weeks prior to the event.

Junior Preview Day at Ole Miss 

Junior Preview Day is designed to give current high school juniors and their families a chance to learn what the University of Mississippi is really like directly from faculty and currently enrolled students. An academic browse fair, tours of the campus and residence halls, and sessions on admissions and financial aid are offered. Please note that this is a larger visit program. Junior Preview Day is March 23, 2019.

Ole Miss School of Pharmacy Fall Visit Days

Pratt Insititute

Pratt Insititute in Brooklyn, New York, is ranked the #1 school for fine arts and studio programs by USA Today. Pratt offers majors in fine art, fashion design, communication design, interior and industrial design, digital arts and animation, history of art and design, art and education, writing, photography, and critical and visual studies. The deadline for the fall semester is.  is early action deadline. Pratt has a generous merit scholarship program; all applicants are considered upon acceptance. University of Alabama Early College

You can apply to University of Alabama Early College anytime during your sophomore, junior or senior year of high school if you have a 3.0 or higher GPA,* cumulative from the 9th grade.With UA Early College, you earn college credit at The University of Alabama, online or on campus, while you are still in high school.You take classes online, 24/7, anywhere you have access to high-speed internet. You can even take classes on UA’s campus during the summer while living in a residence hall, dining on campus, and participating in campus activities.

William Carey University

William Carey University will have Fall Open House on the Hattiesburg campus on October , 2017. Seniors will have a chance to tour and receive important information from the Admissions Office.Scholarship Day is held January , 2018. Seniors with and ACT score of 24 and above are invited to attend this event.Careers in Healthcare will be held January , Feb. , 2019.

Junior Preview Day will be held Feb. , 2019. Juniors will have an opportunity to visit their campus.

Super Saturday will be March , 2019. Seniors will be able to pre-register for fall 2019 classes.

Golf and Sports Turf Management

Golf and Sports Turf Management is the study of plant and soil sciences for the culture of turfgrass on golf and sports facillities. The GSTM curriculum prepares individuals for careers as golf superintendents at private, daily fee, and resort courses or as sports turf managers at city, school and professional sports turf facilities (i.e. football, baseball, soccer fields). Students interested in discussing their potential future in the turfgrass industry or potential transfer courses may contact Ms. Allison North A.north@msstate.edu , Dr. Jay McCurdy jmccurdy@pss.msstate.edu, or Dr. Barry Stewart.
