MS STATE Fall Preview Days

MS State Fall Preview Days are geared toward high school seniors. The student will spend an entire day on campus. The cost is $10 per person. Space is limited. Registration opens on Aug. 29 at 9AM. The dates are Oct. 9, Nov. 10, & Nov. 20.

MS State New Maroon Camp

The Mississippi State University New Maroon Camp is a five-day, four-night student led retreat that prepares first year students for the transition to Mississippi State University. At New Maroon Camp, students learn what it really means to be a Mississippi State Bulldog. This includes giving students the opportunity to experience and learn about MSU history & traditions (the cowbell, the Chapel of Memories, etc.), meet other incoming students, and gain insight into freshman year -- all while moving into their residence hall 5 days early!

MS State Scholars Recognition Days

MS State Scholars Recognition Days are exclusively for high school seniors who have a composite ACT score of 30 or higher. Their goal is to give these students a closer look at the university's academic programs. Talk with faculty about the programs you are interested in and learn what academic opportunities await you at MSU. The dates are: Oct. 23, Oct. 30, & Nov. 6. *Registration available Aug. 29 at 9:00 a.m. CST.

MS State University's Society of Women Engineers

MS State is hosting an outreach event on from 10am-3pm for 9th-12th grade girls with the goal of getting them excited about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. This event is completely free and we will provide lunch for the students. It will include activities, panel, and scavenger hunt. Parents are invited to tour Mississippi State’s campus while the students participate in STEM related activities. This event is limited to 60 spots so please register soon. Ole Miss Fall Fridays

Come check out all of the excitement that campus has to offer during one of our Fall Fridays! These visits include what our normal campus visits offer (an information session, a campus tour given by an Ole Miss Ambassador, a student housing tour), but with the addition of an academic browse fair that will give you the opportunity to meet with academic representatives from across campus. Fall Fridays take place every Friday before a home Ole Miss football game, so these are larger events that offer a unique, yet fun time to visit campus. These dates will be Sept. 1, 15, & 29, Oct. 6 & 27, & Nov. 3 & 17.

Ole Miss Saturday Visit Days

  • Saturday Visit Days allow weekend opportunities for prospective students and their parents to participate in information sessions, take a campus tour, and visit both a contemporary and traditional style residence hall. Registration for Saturday Visit Days will open 8 weeks prior to the event.

Junior Preview Day is designed to give current high school juniors and their families a chance to learn what the University of Mississippi is really like directly from faculty and currently enrolled students. University of Alabama Early College

You can apply to University of Alabama Early College anytime during your sophomore, junior or senior year of high school if you have a 3.0 or higher GPA,* cumulative from the 9th grade. With UA Early College, you earn college credit at The University of Alabama, online or on campus, while you are still in high school. You take classes online, 24/7, anywhere you have access to high-speed internet. You can even take classes on UA’s campus during the summer while living in a residence hall, dining on campus, and participating in campus activities.

William Carey University

William Carey University will have Fall Preview day on the Hattiesburg campus on Saturday,  . Golf and Sports Turf Management
